Hi Andy,
I think the best way is to check IE security settings and what second party
software, add-Ons may be also inside the tools menu.
You may have to shut off certain security settings, like having your web
site to play the game as a safe site so it is approved for viewing.
they may fix your problem, so go into security settings and set it as an
approved web site.
I have a star trek game written in Python if you want to try it I will send
it.

Subject: Browser Crashing PC
When the below incident occurred, I was using a Dell inspiron laptop with an
Intel duel core processor and 1 GB RAM and Windows XP Media Edition. I was
using IE 8 and Window Eyes 7.2.
I was attempting to play a fantasy football playoff challenge game on the ESPN
web site. I had landed on the page where I was to select my team. Almost
immediately the computer began to slow down, and within 30 seconds or so, it
ground to a complete halt. No keys would perform any action. I had to shut
down and restart using the power button. Several attempts always brought the
same result. I then tried to access the same site with Firefox, and, voila!
there was no problem at all. Because IE is my default browser, I am curious as
to what caused the difficulty with IE and how it can be resolved.
