Ted, I have no problem with this at home or work. My equipment info is in my signature. The work info is XP pro service pac 3 with IE 7 and WE 7.2. I use the address bar a lot at work and have no problems reading or copying the information from the address bar.
To read it, make sure you are at the beginning of the address bar after hitting alt-D. Do this by pressing the home key. Once you do that, you should be able to press the right arrow and see all of the characters. Likewise you should be able to press the left arrow and do the same to go back. Press ctrl-shift-right arrow to select the whole thing and ctrl-C to copy it and ctrl-V to paste it wherever you want it. Hoep this helps. If you still have problems after performing the above steps, then you may have another issue.
