Pat, either try a different screen reader for a while if you think window eyes is the cause (although I've never seen this error reported here), or look into other possible causes.
I'd suspect your anti-virus package, and I would suggest going without it for a while. Also, if it's only happening to folders stored on a particular drive, then maybe the drive is getting ready to fail? I'd certainly backup any particular files which are critical to you just in case. finally, is this happening only to folders accessed over a network? then maybe it's something to do with the network server (or pc sharing it's drive)? hth, Chip -----Original Message----- From: Pat Ferguson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, January 12, 2011 7:10 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Window-Eyes and Windows Explorer Hi Everyone, Normally when Window-Eyes checks out, I know it's a Windows Explorer problem, also, but this time, for the first time ever, Window-Eyes reads the error message. Here it is: explorer.exe: The Remote procedure call failled and did not execute. No matter what I do, this is happening. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanksmuch.
