With as many bugs that are in this beta I would think a beta 2 is sure to come.Of course you don't dare ask when.

I am curious as to whether there are going to be any changes with the
final 7.5 with regard to the way it works with Windows Explorer. I have
registered several problems over the trial beta period. I am still
having problems with Windows Explorer and/or Window-Eyes crashing.
Today, I put a CD in my drive and tried to search for something. Speech
stopped and I could not do anything. I tried using the program which
closes Window-Eyes and that did not work. I Happened to be wearing
headphones at the time, and noticed a little three-note sound just
before the sound crashed. Actually, the crash was not total as I was
playing a version of FreeCell which had its own speech and when I tabbed
to that program, there was speech. The next step I took was to close all
of the programs except the freeCell game. After there was nothing else
open, I went to the desktop with the Windows-D key. Instead of getting
the desktop, Window-Eyes started speaking. The windows which were open
were Thunderbird, Windows Explorer and the FreeCell game. Sometimes, the
speech will lock up the same way when I have the combination of
Window-Eyes, Windows Explorer, Winamp and Thunderbird. I have had
Windows Explorer messages saying that the program had stopped running
several times since I installed the beta. This did not happen before the
beta. It seems the problem always seems to involve Windows Explorer and
Window-Eyes with some other program open, but the third program does not
seem to be specific. I hope this message will give you an idea of what
happens with the speech crash. I am running a Dell desktop with Windows
Home Premium, 64-bit, with 6g of ram and I am using a SoundBlaster x fi
streme sound card. Thanks for your consideration.
