Hello:

Simply placing a JPG file inside a Word document does not make it
accessible. A JPG file is simply a picture of the document. Reading the
document from this format would require scanning and Optical Character
Recognition. This is little different than handing you a paper copy of the
document.

If the document was created free-hand, OCR may not even do the trick.

If the document was created using a computer it may be best to obtain an
electronic copy of the document.

I have been out of school for some time but I don't recall any significant
advances enabling conversion of standard mathematics into an easily readable
linear format. So- even if you were to obtain the documents in electronic
form, reading them will take some time and effort.

I don't discourage this time and effort, though I don't know your schedule
and/or other obligations.

  HTH.

Subject: win eyes and shape feilds

hey guys,

okay, welll, this is a pain in the gluds buuuuuuuut, no pun inteneded.

im running win eyes 7.2, ms office 2007, and i have to take my grade 12 math
again. here is the situation

the math assignment was scanned into ms word as a jpeg file, but placed in
an office word doccument. so as it stands win eyes reads it as a shape
feild, then gives dimentions. is there anyway to work around this, without
scrips, or do i need to have all these assignments embossed(brailled out)
inorder for me to do them. I have tried the scripts many times before, for
ms word and non of them seem to help this problem.

if you can help me out thank you! im leaving this one open for even gw
members to rply to along with listt members

thx you
