Johnny,
Some multimedia keyboards, those with special keys at the top that control
volume and music players, have software that allow hot keys to be defined.
These hot keys can conflict with some regular Windows key combinations such as
Alt+F4. If you have such a keyboard, find its entry in the System Tray and
investigate the settings to see if these hot keys have been enabled. My
Logitech keyboard ended up in this state once upon a time. Quite frustrating
until I found out what was going on.

Subject: Please everyone, WE help needed for WE help

  Dear list,

I'm the soul who was recently lamenting over the fact that my Alt+F4 close
program key combination stopped working in everything except for in IE. I am
now noticing that the F6 key used for opening and mooving between my HELP list
tree and Help window has stopped working as well. Unless someone knows of some
other way for me to read help windo information, I'm stuck without access to
the WE control panel help manual. Please, if there is anyone who can help me
figure out why these key combinations have stopped working, please get back to
me off list so as not to clutter the list with perhaps non-We issues. One kind
lister suggested that maybe some pop-up window may be causing the problem, but
sighted help tells me that there are no pop-ups anywhere.

Using WE 7.2 on an XP Home beast.

  Again, please help!

  Thanks much,

  Johnny
