I might have missed your message earlier but are you using a brand new computer with Windows 7 as the operating system? There are new computers being sold either by the manufacturer or big box stores that have the Function rwo keys set to work as shortcut keys or media function keys. In one Windows 7 system I found that you can change the setting in the control pannel. Don't quite remember exactly where it was. Milton
