Would that GWMicro would query whether the settings be set as Local or Global using a radio button so we don't have to concern ourselves whether voice is on or off or whatever other indeces need settings. If I wish something be set globally let me indicate so. Otherwise let the results apply to the current application.
How difficult can this be?

Hi mate,

If I understand it correctly, if you have global settings set to voice only
or verbosity only or both, when you make changes in the respective voice
or verbosity dialogues, your global changes get saved automatically.
Nothing gets saved in your set file until you explicitly save the set file
via the file menu. Of course if you have the global settings set to not use
voice or verbosity settings then any voice and verbosity changes will have
to be saved by saving your set file as they will be set specific. Of course
I stand to be corrected on the above.

Subject: Saving global settings

Hello,

I know this is a silly question, but I have forgotten how to save
global settings without saving changes to the current set file. I've been
going through the manual and find that Window-Eyes will take the
opportunity to save global settings when a set file is saved but no
explicit instructions on how to save only the global settings.

Sincerely,
