Jim, Have you used the program I am referring to? If you have, you would know that when launching the program WE sees the file list as a "list box" arrow keys do nothing, a simple reclass fixes the issue.
I have been using the program for over 3 years and have a simple set file that reclasses the list box to a list view and the tree view control to a tree view. Each time I install on a new computer I need to reclass as I'm too lazy to copy my set file over. 32 bit version: http://zabkat.com/xplorer2_setup.exe 64 bit version: http://zabkat.com/xplorer2_setup64.exe On Thu, 3 Feb 2011 13:26:51 -0800 "jim grimsby Jr." <[email protected]> wrote: > hi, and no you don't want to reclass this control. it should work with out > it and reclassing the control brakes it. > hth > > Jim Grimsby JR. > Skype name: Jim.Grimsby > Skype number: 909-498-4711. > E-mail: [email protected] > Twitter: Jgrimsby > > -------------------------------------------------- > From: "Chris G" <[email protected]> > Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2011 12:41 PM > To: "Don H" <[email protected]> > Cc: "gwmicro" <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: alternative to Windows Explorer > > > Hi, > > xplorer2 from http://zabkat.com/alldown.htm > > > > You need to reclass the listbox to a list view and the program works > > great. > > > > > > > > On Thu, 03 Feb 2011 13:49:18 -0600 > > Don H <[email protected]> wrote: > > > >> Can anyone recommend a alternative to Windows Explorer to view files and > >> folders on Windows 7? > >> If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender > >> only.
