Hi Don, I can suggest two file managers you may like to try:
The first one is FileDir written by Jamal Mazrui and available from www.empowermentzone.com/dirsetup.exe This file manager is free and is designed specifically for people who use screen readers. Window-Eyes scripts are included in the installer for FileDir. The second program which is shareware is Total Commander available from www.ghisler.com There are scripts for Total Commander on Script Central at https://www.gwmicro.com/Script_Central/Scripts/Script_Details/?scriptid=1307 I don't use Total Commander myself but I do use FileDir regularly and I find it works very well. I hope this helps. Regards Steve. On Thu, 03 Feb 2011 13:49:18 -0600 Don H <[email protected]> wrote: Can anyone recommend a alternative to Windows Explorer to view files and folders on Windows 7?
