I'm using 3.1.7 and I have trouble where lines of text that I've typed disappear when I try to edit them. I looked through the options for composition under tools/options/composition/general and didn't see anything about html editing. I also checked the html domains area but didn't see anything there where I could just turn it off. Could you be more specific on where such a setting might be?

When typing in Word 2007, after each letter I type, I hear the word
"normal" spoken. Sometimes, it is spoken once, but at other times, it
will repeat twice or even three times. I find this to be very
distracting. Also, after about the first sentence, I hear "get object
failed". This is not a new thing, though. Sometimes it does it, and
others, it does not.

I am running Win7 64-bit home premium.
