I started seeing this when I also installed the beta. I have windows 7 64 bit From: Peter Duran <mailto:[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 08, 2011 8:31 PM To: mailto:[email protected] Subject: Windows Explorer Can't Find Renamed File Hello This has occurred after the installation of Window-Eyes 7.5. It was very confusing until I found a workaround for it. Here's the problem: 1. For instance, open the My Documents folder. I am running Windows 7 64-bit. 2. Move onto any filename. 3. Press the F2 key to rename the file. 4. Type the replacement name and press the Enter key. 5. Press the Enter key again to launch Word 2010 and open the renamed file. Well, Explorer complains and can't locate the renamed file. (Drove me crazy for a day.) Press the F5 key to refresh the list, and then Explorer can find the renamed file and it opens as desired. Is this a Window-Eyes bug or what? Didn't happen before WE 7.5. Peter Duran If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
