Dan,
The Alt-1 through Alt-7 keys work only in the actual message-- not in
the list. We include graphic labels for the different Outlook status
icons, and it sounds like the entries are not matching what is on your
screen. Have you installed the latest set files for Office 2003? Does
the WE 7.5 public beta improve the situation at all?

Hi All,
Let me apologize in advance if this has been discussed, I can't find it in my
message archives.
When using Outlook 2003 with Window-Eyes, either v6.0 or v7.X, what do I need
to do to get the field hotkeys (alt-1, alt-7) to read reliably.
I am thinking that something is wrong with my Outlook current view settings,
but I can't find anything.
In v7.x, Window-Eyes continually says "not in detail view" when I try any of
these keys in the inbox message listing.
In v6.0, they either read invalid items, or say "information not found".
Also, when arrowing through the message list, V7.x doesn't notify me if there
is an attachment on a message, v6.0 does.
However, if I open the message, all the keys seem to work properly. Opening a
message just to see, for example if the message has attachments, is
time-consuming at the very least.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dan Greene
