This is a known issue with the Quickstart app that we are currently
investigating. Check your data bits setting and ensure it's set to 8 and
not 7.

then the startup wizard came up with 3 radio buttons; I was interested

after switching back to the DoubleTalk , it started speaking jibberish
(all sorts of letters , digits , punctuation signs etc) instead of
regular text ,and does so ever since.
restarting the computer doesn't help.
anybody encountered this behavior? any ideas of fixing it without
un-installing , then re-installing everything?
