Heidi,
Ensure "Show Advanced Options" is checked under the Window-Eyes Help
menu. Next, go to the Screen node, arrow to punctuation, and Tab until
you get to "Textual." Arrow until you hear "Off," press Control-S to
save, and your punctuation will be set back the way you prefer.
Note that we are working on a fix for some situations where punctuation
settings sometimes change even if you didn't want them to.

as that WE is announcing things like the colon after the re in outlook
