This appears to have fixed it, thank you so much. I am used to the old interface, so I just couldn't' find it, so really appreciate the help.

Next, go to the Screen node, arrow to punctuation, and Tab until you get to "Textual." Arrow until you hear "Off," press Control-S to save, and your punctuation will be set back the way you prefer. Note that we are working on a fix for some situations where punctuation settings sometimes change even if you didn't want them to.
