It was as though the search feature was not active. A restart of WE or re-boot fixed the problem. I could not tell what triggered it. The search suggestions work just fine now. After that I installed 7.5 again, without any modifications, just the basic upgrade and setup and the problem is there again, the start menu search speaks only the phrase entered in the edit field when arroeing up or down.
