Hi Listers,
Using: W7 HP 32,Triple Talk USB on a desktop with beta 1.

The following was not noticed under WE 7.2 but may have existed. It can also be duplicated with Eloquence and Adobe Reader 10.

Let's say the default rate setting for my Triple talk is 4 but to read mail in Tbird, the rate is increased to 6 using the control + alt + arrow keys command.

If, while using the read to end function, the up arrow is pressed a few times to both stop the function and move the cursor up a couple of lines so the text can be examined more closely, the rate is decreased from 6 back to the default rate of 4. The same thing happens if the volume was the last setting changed prior to the read to end beingused. Don't know about the pitch and tone though.

Also, obtained similar results if the escape key was pressed to stop the read to end function prior to the arrow keys being pressed.

Can anyone duplicate this?

Cheers
Neville.
