Here's another idea.
When a user logs in, window-eyes should be set to detect other window-eyes
versions on that machine.
Window-eyes could come up saying, "Which version of window-eyes would you like to
use for this windows session?"
But, just think.
You could have 4.5, 5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 7.11, 7.2, 7.5 beta, you get the idea.
I wonder if GW might be able to look in to this.

I know GW will correct me if I'm wrong, but just so everyone knows, I believe
if you purchase the final 7.5 upgrade, you can install it right on top of the
beta, without having to go back and reinstall 7.2 first.
Although, I agree with you about this idea; it would be very nice if we could
flip back and forth between current and beta, to compare various things, and to
go back and use the current if the beta happens not to work in some way.

to be able to install them into another folder , with its own desktop icon,
maybe call it w e beta 7.5. separate from the full installed version.
then we could try it out, without it effecting or over writing the full version.

e all over again every time. unless a upgrade required it.
