Hi Don,

It does not mean for sure that it's a we problem but, it's much more likely.
Now what if you use we and turn off scripting completely?
What if you use a different screen reader and not we?
You can use narrator or nvda they are both free.
You can also try www.satogo.com it's free as well.
Please let us know what happens.
Thanks,
Sam

I had my sighted wife use the computer opening and closing numerous web pages as well as starting and closing IE 9 and had no crashes. Does this mean it is a WE problem maybe not as it doesn't always crash with WE running. It is a real pain as when it does crash speech is lost until you can somehow close the dialog box and IE closes.

Hi Don,

a quick question for you.
Do you have any way to shutdown we and have a sighted person browse the
web with ie 9 to see if all the crashes go away?
We need to know if it's we causing all the problems or if your computer
has problems independent of WE.
Thanks,
Sam

Is anyone else experiencing a lot of IE 9 crashes where speech is lost
and a dialog box comes up stating that IE has encountered a problem
and will shut down? When this dialog box is up WE won't speak but
speech returns if you can get the dialog box closed.
