installed, I was able to change the beep to a quieter sound, that
suited my preference. Where would I have needed to look to find that
app? For me, it is just a way for me to see all apps without going
through each group. Sorry, but I would probably not go through the
groups unless I was looking for something specific., but then, I would
be able to search for a specific app.

Why not just search (Control-F) for what you're interested in? If
you're just looking to browse, I think the treeview offers a more
comprehensive list, separating apps by category. Perhaps, for
example, you're not interested at all in the Programming Apps. With
the treeview, you can skip those apps entirely.
App Get is our preferred method of obtaining apps (aside from
visiting AC directly), but you're free to use either App Get or
Install Packages. I cannot, however, speak to the development process
of Install packages, or whether or not it will continue to be
maintained now that App Get is available.

When you go to install large apps such as Convert Units or the Homer
Shared Object apps that take a while to download I think it would be
good if we got some type of prompt to let us know what's happening while
the app is being downloaded. Possibly a prompt like "Downloading, please
wait" or similar. This isn't a problem with smaller scripts because they
are downloaded almost instantly but perhaps this prompt could be given
if the script was over a certain size or the download hadn't completed
within a certain amount of time. People expect to hear or see some type
of prompt and new users especially could think the computer has crashed
or nothing is happening for some reason. Thanks.
