hi, ok this might be helpful if your doing one or two things with progress
bars. but what happens when your downloading 3 or 4 files saving a file in
gold wave copying files from one drive to another and unzipping files to the
flash drive. I think if your doing all though things having progress bars
read in the back ground would get over whelming. also what about programs
in the system tray that have progress bars. like windows update get right
etc.
like I said not sure what the advantage would be and not sure how you could
keep the option from getting overly verbose after a bit if your doing a
number of tasks that use progress bars. as I typically do.

Subject: Suggestion for Progress Indicator App
Dear all.
I would like to see progress bars being seen even if the program showing
is in the background. I would call these background progress bars. If
this is at all possible, this would be greatly appreciated. An example
might be you are downloading a file, but you want to do something else
while the file is downloading, rather than waiting for the download to
complete. This is true of large (over 1GB) files. At the moment, the
progress bar is only seen when the program, in this case a file download
dialogue box, is in the foreground; once minimized the bar is no longer
seen. I know of another screen reader that has this capability out of
the box.
Many thanks for looking into this. It is greatly appreciated.
Take care.
