hi,
unfortunately, the instructions you gave don't seem to be working. If
I'm in the main thunderbird window, I route the pointer to the "row" and
for some weird reason my desktop icons are displayed, but when I go to
thunderbird itself, in other words go to the bottom right of the screen,
I get a line that says, "get mail, writ"
When I'm in a message and I route the pointer, I can see the word
subject, but right clicking on that only gives me an option that says,
customize.
This is the latest thunderbird, we 7.5 and win7 64 bit. I'm not sure
what to do, thoughts?

Hi dave,
You will need to use your mouse pointer and arrow down from the top
until you hear a line which includes the word "subject". Next, use
insert-numpad 6 to move to the word. Press the right mouse click (slash,
above the numpad 9).
now, you will use your arrow keys to move down a non-verbal list. To
hear each item in the list, it is necessary to use control-numpad5. Do
this until you hear "from" spoken and press enter. You should now be
able to hear the from listings in your message.

Hi,
I'm sure this has been asked before, but how do you sort the columns
in thunderbird so that the status of the message e.g. read, unread,
forwarded, etc. is read first and then the subject of the message is
read? I can't figure it out.
