Speculating that
this recent incident of appGet insisting there was an update
somewhere was caused by the newest version of GW-toolkit, I installed
the previous version of gw-toolkit.
This, did not work exactly.
Instead, when WE was started that truly irritating assault was
back but this time it insisted there was a new version of appGet.
Note, prior to this checking for new apps revealed none to be available.
This heretofore hidden version of AppGet is version 1.0.3 dated April 21.
After installing that it seems the problem has gone away.
So, to recapp, appget was assaulting me every time I started we with
info about an app that was out of date, even though I hated this
behavior, only to tell me that no app had an available update.
Weird, but things are more peaceful now.
Now, do I dare update gw-toolkit again?
