Hello to my fellow WE and Lotus Notes users I just got word that our company is moving from version 6.5 to version 8.5.2 of Notes. I'll get upgraded sometime before year end. I'm using WE 7.2. Several of us experienced some quirks when upgrading to WE 7.2, but I'm wondering in general how you are doing if you're on a later version of Notes now. Are you using WE 7.2 or 7.5 with Notes? If using WE 7.5, did that fix any of the prior quirks experienced with 7.2, such as the message list not reading correctly? I had not planned on asking my company for a WE upgrade to 7.5 unless I could show it gave me new compatibility I don't currently have.
While I'm on it, I'm curious if any of you are using Lotus Sametime Connect instant messaging. My colleagues upgraded to version 7.5 from 6.x. I tried it for a while when I was on an earlier version of WE, but, even with the screen reader settings in place, found it really difficult to navigate the message text boxes. So, I went back to using the older version. I have not tried upgrading again since on WE 7.2. Curious what version you use, if any.
