I've used a Triple Talk  for quite some time with Windows XP Professional and 
never exerienced the problems you describe.

Yes, I did contact them some time ago and asked about the problem of not 
being able to stop it talking but didn't get anywhere though. As for the 
clicking and the silence, it would not be worth the cost of sending it 
from Australia to the US for repairs.  That is assuming it could be 
repaired.
