The exception dictionary won't accept any characters in the original word except the apostrophe and letters... not sure about numbers. You can't even make 1/2 say half.

I tried putting :-)in the WE exception dictionary and changing the pronunciation to "smiley Face" in order to get WE to say smiley face. But it didn't seem to work.

Am I correct, it doesn't work?
