I believe gw will do some sort of patch or the remote assistance will be incorporated into a future release of the window-eyes software before version 8. In other words, it will be put into an new version before the release of WE 8. That is my understanding.

Are there plans to support it under XP? I realize XP is ancient by Microsoft's standards however I downgraded to XP from later version due to better stability. I know I'll have to get with Seven eventually or maybe just move to Eight when it ships but I do like my XP.

Subject: Remote Assistance?

    Hello all,
Was just wondering...When I go to the help menu on my Window Eyes screen and go to the remote assistance option, then to offer assistance, nothing happens. According to the help file it should ask me to enter some kind of password or something that the other party uses on their machine? Is this a feature that has to be paid for to add on? Or am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks,
    Cory
