Yes, maybe I wasn't clear. There are plans to support under xp, we just
have to wait for either a patch of 7.5 or the next version, which will be a
free upgrade. It will be a version with a number less than 8.0.
We should have remote assistance support with xp with a version number less
than 8.0 of window eyes.

Are there plans to support it under XP? I realize XP is ancient by
Microsoft's standards however I downgraded to XP from later version due to
better stability. I know I'll have to get with Seven eventually or maybe
just move to Eight when it ships but I do like my XP.

Subject: Remote Assistance?
Hello all,
Was just wondering...When I go to the help menu on my Window Eyes
screen and go to the remote assistance option, then to offer assistance,
nothing happens. According to the help file it should ask me to enter
some kind of password or something that the other party uses on their
machine? Is this a feature that has to be paid for to add on? Or am I
doing something wrong?
Thanks,
Cory
