Hi!

yes, the firmware update via the pc suite may remove all your apps and
settings, so you should better do a backup first. Sometimes updates are not for
the whole system and apps will stay, but you should not relie on that and
backup everything first.

i do not have a link, I just googled it "nokia pc suite download" and this
gives the nokia download site in the search results.
all the best,
Martin

    Hi!

you will have to differ between the ovi suite and the nokia pc suite.
the ovi suite seems not to be accessible.

if you installed the pc suite this is mostly accessible. When you open it
it won't speak anything, but just try to press alt! this will open the menue
and cursor up and down and left and right will read the current item to you.
Most of the windows should be accessible too.
i use the suite for mobile internet access with my cell phone and to update
firmware and so on.

The calendar and contacts part seems to be not accessible though.

    cheers

    Martin

      Hi List,

Does anyone know if Nokia ovi suite is accessible to Window-eyes. I did
try installing it but got no speech whatsoever.

Windows 7, 4 gig ram, 300 hard drive. pentium 3.2 processor.

      Window-eyes 7.5.

      Live long and prosper, John
