Does this happen if you set your IE search provider as Google, perform a search with Control-E, and press Enter to bring up the results? We haven't seen the hanging issue with IE8. Is your IE start page set to blank or for a certain page? Does changing it make any difference? Regarding Firefox, the public itteration or Window-Eyes 7.5 does not work well with version 4 of this browser. We believe we have cleaned all of this up, and it will be in a free update due out soon. In the mean time, version 3.6 should still work fine, unless of course FF4 has a feature you simply can't do without.
