Shannon, thanks for these. I'll investigate and get back with you.

Hi,
It happens with all of them I run, even a blank one.
I just opened excel to a new book and pressing control F to search still
took a 4 Mississippi count to hear "No selected item list view".
Which now that I think about it is not what it should be saying. It is
an edit box after all.
What could be the problem?? HmmHmm
I'll send you a couple of spread sheets I am using. They all act this
way with the find dialog.
I also notice that entering data in a cell and then pressing the right
arrow or left does not always say anything at all. I press them to move
to the next cell after entering in the data. I arrow again to find that
now I am too far and have to go back. Sometimes WE will just bong when
pressing the arrow keys after entering data. so it either bongs or says
nothing at all.
This is WE 7.5, Office 2010 on an XP sp 3 machine with Pentium (r) cpu
3.6 ghz 3gb ram
I am also attaching a screen shot of the my computer properties general
page, just in case there is something else there that may help.
Thanks
Shannon

Hello Shannon. Does this happen on all Excel worksheets, or does it
also happen if the document is empty? Can you email us a sample to
[email protected]?
Thanks.

Good morning,
Does anyone have any idea why we 7.5 is sow slow in response with the
find dialog in Excel2010?
When I press control f for the find dialog in my spread sheet the
window
appears but WE takes for ever to anounce the edit box. and then a good
long time to let go of the window after the item has been found.
I turned off WE and used the find comand with out WE running and it
works real snappy.
Why would WE be slowing the excell sheet down?
Is there a bett or newer set file for office 2010?
I not only have problems in excell but in word too.
Thanks
Shannon
