This is an issue with Windows, unfortunately. I've had this happen from
time to time, even without Window-Eyes running. Interestingly enough, I
have an identical machine (same hardware configuration, same operating
system, same audio drivers), and I've never lost sound on it.

Hi all,
I was using the calculator in win 7 and when I exited it I lost all
sound? I was unable to restart normally, I had to hold down the power
button until the computer shut down. This is probally an issue with
windows but does anyone have any ideas?
