Usually if you just start hitting the delete key it will either go into
cmos or tell you which key to press. Some times it is control escape,
as I recall on Dells, it is f2. You can't hurt anything, just have a
sighted person watch the screen as you don't have much time.

Hi, I'm not sure the first message I sent on this went so I'll try again.
It's usually the delete key pressed either just before the beep or just
after. You can't hurt anything by pressing it several time. I have however
seen it be other keys depending on the PC. If you have eyes there and the
book on your PC or main board it should tell you how to access the BIOS.

Okay, is there a standard key to access the bios as computer is
booting up? If not how would I find this keystroke?

Hi Louis,
As far as I know there is no access software to read the BIOS. That may
have
changed sice XP but if it did I haven't heard of it.
