xp supports sapi5, natively, since the inception, in fact. :)
I am using the Ivona voices on xp home sp3 and all works fine, even
keeping up with my fast typing.

computer to use with WE. I just purchased Ivona Joey and installed
it on my XP 1.7MH computer with 1 MB of memory and it is sluggish,
stutter and crackles. I suspect it takes a lot of system recourses.
I would suggest you download and try the demo first. You can't get a
refund if you purchase and then decide you don't like it.
