I'm not sure if it contained other video files. Where will I be able to 
find information about what my video card is?

Did any of these updates include updated video drivers? If so, it's 
worth noting that Microsoft often doesn't push the most suitable video 
drivers via Windows Update. Installing the latest driver from your video 
card's manufacturer should solve this problem.
