Google's home page is quite accessible when using WE. After typing in your search terms press the enter key. If browse mode doesn't kick in, press control+shift+A to turn it on. Then press the letter H to jump through the various headings. The second or third heading down, this depends on factors like ads, will be your search results.
Navigating heading to heading skips over the ads so I don't find any benefit in using a separate page to accomplish the same thing as those who don't use a parallel site.
