Your reply did not go to the entire list. Because you used the plural I
have included the GW Info list in my reply.

I don't think anyone said that the Google home page is cleaner, it is
quite accessible. If using the Window-Eyes browse hot keys, the search
results are easy to navigate through the chaff.

I use Window-Eyes text to speech capabilities. I don't have any useable
vision therefore if the pages I land on are cluttered that doesn't
matter to me as long as they are marked up nicely with embedded headings
and common controls like combo boxes, edit fields, etc.

I am looking at the main Google page. It has allot of stuff not relevant
to
my search.
My guess is you guys have not used the Accessible page if you think the
standard Google Search, and the results, are anything close to as clean
as
the accessible page.
That said, it is what it is. I might switch to yahoo since so far it
seems a
little cleaner.
But, I'll play with the standard google to see if I can get it working
well
enough to do good research without spending hours sorting through the
result
sets.
there are allot of links that mlight filter the types of data searched
for,
I'm not sure what they actually do, but I'll play with them a little.
But, I much prefer the clean and light years faster to use accessible
page.

Google's home page is quite accessible when using WE.

After typing in your search terms press the enter key. If browse mode
doesn't kick in, press control+shift+A to turn it on. Then press the
letter H to jump through the various headings. The second or third
heading down, this depends on factors like ads, will be your search
results.

Navigating heading to heading skips over the ads so I don't find any
benefit in using a separate page to accomplish the same thing as those
who don't use a parallel site.
