Don,

If you're wanting to perform a Google search in Firefox, it's imho much quicker to use the built-in search bar reached with Control-K.

Ok, I have never got the grasp of those dratted edit boxes. At one time,
I just had to hit enter and I could type in what I wanted.
then this wonderful special search we had, so if that is gone, what next?
so, if I want to search and am using fire fox, is this what I do?:
Open up google
control shift a and type in what I want?
Or do I type control shift a, type in what I want and then do control
shift again and then enter.
I should have been born deaf, nuts.
