Steve, it appears the problem was with the Eloquence Fix app. I unloaded it, downloaded the most current version, then re-installed it. Set the app status back to on and everything appears to be OK. When I went through each app one at a time, the error didn't come up, but eloquence fix caused WE to stop speaking and didn't allow me to close it with the close Window-Eyes hot key insert+control+F4.
