Hi,
I can tell you that Consumer Reports can sometimes be wrong. For
example, I don't especially like the way they review audio equipment
and a friend told me years ago that they are not always correct
about autos. I read the magazine for information, but I question
their claim of being absolutely object.

A question to consider is how reliable _Consumer Reports_ is as an
evaluator of software. I'd rather trust publications such as
_Smart Computing_ or _PC World_.

Hey listers,
Consumer Reports magazine has for the last few times they've reviewed
antivirus programs, recommended Avira's antivirus program the best among
free programs. This past June, they did so again, and the one whom many
of us have switched to, after leaving AVG, Microsoft Security Essentials,
was dead last among the free antivirus programs. So the question is, is
any one of you using this program, and does it work well with WE?
