Hi. I really hate to belabor the point, but I gave up trying to update the
GW toolkit when prompted by the update notification asking if I wanted to
try to update an app shown to be out of date when the app get app wouldn't
recognize the update, yet the app get app said there were no new updates
when there was one. I therefore used a work around which resolved the
issue.

I opened the w e control panel with control-backslash. I used the alt key
and the right arrow key to access the app management pull down. I pressed
enter to open it. I then used the down arrow to find the app manager dialog
and pressed enter. I found the GW toolkit, tabbed to the check for updates
button and pressed enter. I answered yes to the prompt about the app
stopping and restarting any apps I have installed. I then heard a Windows 7
error sound and lost speech. The only way I could get speech back was to
restart the computer.

I was hoping the app get update problem would have been resolved and allowed
me to update the GW toolkit. I realize that the version number didn't
change, but the app get update feature should have worked under the
circumstances.
