Hello Keith,
To solve your problem, first navigate to Keyboard/Voice, and make sure
the voice is set to "On with Characters," "On with Characters and
Words," or "On with Characters, Words, and Numbers." Next, move to
Keyboard/Punctuation, and make sure that each punctuation combo box is
set to On. This will cause all punctuation characters, including the
spacebar, to be voiced.
Regards,
Steve

Hi, I recently booted by computer and I am running window eyes 7.5.1. First off, the space key is not voiced.
When I push the space bar, it does not say "space". I checked the keyboard settings in the window eyes
window, and it says on, so I'm assuming WE knows that I want the space bar pushed to say space. Next, the @ used
to voice "at" instead of "at sign". Next, the period, and comma, and ! all say the
punctuation mark twice. Example, if I hit comma, it says "comma, comma. This also includes the colon and
the semi colon.
I made no changes to these settings before powering off my system last night.
Any suggestions on how to get these settings back to the originals? I would
hate to have to revert back to WE 7.2, which I was more comfortable with the
layout. Old dog and all.
Thanks
Keith
