how are you killing win eyes?
for some reason if i use the windows task kill batch file i have w e will not 
speak the desktop at all  after i reload. until i close w e the normal way from 
the w e control panel. then reload. then the desktop will talk after i tab afew 
times in and out of the desktop.
the kill wineyes app it does nothing. the batch file for kill wineyes says it 
the file is not a executable program.

running it was worse it did nothing I had to reboot machine.
  So i thought I would turn win eyes off and I still had trouble.

      I pressed enter waited for computer to wake up then pressed alt control w 
wi eyes cam up pretty quick.

      It was all up and running just would not focus narrator came up and it 
could read the icons.

      how long did you wait after  the computer comes out of sleep mode?
      my 32bit computer takes up to 2 minutes after the windows sounds play 
with vista.
      with my 4 core win 7 664bit computer i built it takes 15 seconds.

        So just tab or control and tab I tryed a few things but to no luck I 
started narrator and after a while win eyes started to work.

          Hi guys a while back someone had same trouble as me I had computer on 
for a while wen i had lunch and I turnd win eyes off and wen I came back in and 
started win eyes it had that problem with desk top saying their was nothing 
selected and i could not get win eyes to focus on desk top.

          I have latest win eyes and win 7.
