Hello Olusegun,

This is already implemented. We never overwrite your default settings when
upgrading unless you explicitly choose to when you are in the Factory Settings
dialog.

Hi Everyone:

As the subject header states, might the following scenario be possible in a new
version of Window-Eyes?

To help understand why I asked my question, here is my story. I DO NOT like
the default read-to-end key used in Window-Eyes, so I changed it to
Scroll-Lock; I also DO NOT like having to press three keys in order to SHUT
DOWN Window-Eyes. So, with the NumLock turned off, I changed the Window-Eyes
SHUT DOWN key to the <enter> key on the Numpad.

If I install an new version of Window_Eyes tomorrow, these keystrokes will be
reverted to whatever Window-Eyes developers have set as defaults. Can a future
version of Window-Eyes simply LEAVE KEYS that have been redefined alone? Or at
least prompt me with a question as to whether or not I want to go back to the
default settings?

I am NOT CERTAIN if my wise goose idea or suggestion is achievable, but I'd
certainly would appreciate a comment or two on it. Many thanks!!

Sincerely,

Olusegun
