Dear Steve,

Yes, that is working now. I now have Window-Eyes running again and it's reading the desktop properly. <smile>

Thanks much.

Pat,

This is something which we are investigating. Does performing a complete Window-Eyes restart via Control-Insert-F4, Enter, and Control-Alt-W correct how WE reads the desktop?

Regards,
Steve

Hi Everyone,

After I updated scripts this morning, and I lost my sounds in Windows
Seven 64Bit, and had to reboot my computer, Window-Eyes is not reading
my desktop shortcuts. It reads the descriptions of them, but it doesn't
read like this:

Computer Control Panel, Command Prompt and so on.

I've had a few problems before, and if I just did the Windows M again,
it would start reading things just fine.

Well, folks, this really is a Window-Eyes problem, and I hate to say
this, but I loaded System Access now, and my desktop is just fine.

Any ideas? <grin>

Thanks.
