Is there anything else I need to do to run a system file checker on my
netbook, other than going to the start button, going to the run box,
and typing "sfc scannow"?
I typed it and Window Eyes reads an invisible text box that has
different commands for the sfc command, like scannow, purge, etc.
I think there is something majorly wrong with my system, and I do not
want to do a full reinstall of windows. I have used ccleaner to check
the registry and clean temp files out. One thing that is odd is that
I cannot access any of the non-priority updates for my system, on
either of my computers, and the cookies folder, that is supposed to be
in the documents and settings folder is not there. Even though I have
hidden folders turned off, but super anti spyware detects tracking
cookies and indicates that folder that is not there.
Thanks
Keith
