Lee,
It sounds like you have somehow turned off the speaking of field names
and/or field labels. The quickest way to fix this is to open Window-Eyes
with Control-Backslash, then press Alt-F, F, W, and Enter. This will
re-install the default Window-Eyes settings. At this point, close
Window-Eyes and restart it to return the screen reader back to normal
operation.

Steve

Hi,
Due to pc issues, I had to re-install WE last week and I've been pulling my
hair out ever since.
File menu items aren't spoken. For example I was trying to access the
Window-Eyes manual so I did control backslash to bring the control panel up. I
then pressed the alt key and arrowed right a couple of times to get to the help
submenu but the only info I get when doing this is pull down. I have no clue
what menu item I'm at. Same thing for buttons and dialog boxes. No info is
spoken. I checked my screen resolution and it's set to 1280 by 800.
Any advice on how to fix this would be appreciated.
