Dear List: I have windows 2000 with window-eyes 7.2. I am just starting to use g mail, accessing it from the browser. After signing in, I hit the Compose Mail button to start a new message. By toggling the browse command (shift-control A), I find I am still in browse mode as I should be. However, if I do the speak summary command (shift-control S), instead of speaking the number of links etcetera, it just says "no menu item selected." And the main arrow keys do nothing. And, even by tabbing, I do not find the to: and subject: box. Just in case it had any bearing on the situation, I even did the maximize command (alt-space X. But, if I kill window-eyes (control-alt-F4), and then turn window-eyes on again (Control-Alt-W), then everything works fine again. If you have an idea what is happening here, please let me know. Thanks. Regards: Ted Larson If you reply to this message it will be delivered to the original sender only.
