Exactly. And the guy talking about how much cheaper it would be to buy a
netbook and a cell phone and such didn't bother to mention all the time
needed to install the software on the netbook and set it up, setting up
Windows itself, installing Window Eyes, scanning software, etc. etc. That
can be a serious headache for many people. Not to mention those teeny tiny
buttons on so many cell phones, which some people can use and some can't.
I'll bet the buttons on the Read Easy are much easier to find and press than
on many cell phones I've seen.

This sounds like a really good product for those with no computer
experience and
the price is not that much different than what they would have to pay to
purchase
all of the required items, i.e, scanner, speech, OCR, computer, etc. to
make it work,
and then, what about the learning curve. There are people that do NOT
want anything
to do with trying to learn a computer, but would be more than happy to
purchase a
device such as this. No one said people on this list had to purchase the
device.
After all, this is a GW-Micro site and they should be allowed to post any
announcement
for any product they sell. If you don't want to purchase it, that is your
choice.
If you can't afford it, well, you are not alone, but there are those that,
I am sure,
will do so. Thank you, GW, for the information.
